My husband was acting like a jackass before she came and now he is pretending to be nice. My baby is screaming downstairs. Rar!!! Why do their have to be mother in laws?

    My mil invited herself over for dinner tonight, and asked us what we were cooking. Hello, we have a 2 day old baby!! And she didn't even bring the baby a gift. I can't imagine not getting your own grandchild a little something when you meet her.
    Sorry your mil is bugging you. I hope YH gets his act together. Hugs!

    DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
    Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
    Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
    IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
    ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
    Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
    u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat
    EDD 12/12/12>

    My MIL isn't mean...just super odd. She says the most bizarre things and has a very strange way of looking at the world. I'll take that over bitchy anyway.

    We went to the playground and she wasn't holding on to the baby well enough so DH said are u holding her and she said of course it took you two long enough to have her I'm not gonna break her who knows how long it would take for a new one. Rar!!!!!!

    +HPT 9/17! Beta #1 (9/25) = 1,000 Beta #2 (9/27) = 1,860 U/S #1 (10/11)...TWINS!

    1/8/13 - It's a..boy and a girl!!

    DH and I are Americans living an adventure in Kenya since 2011
    DX: PCOS (annovulatory)
    Feb 2012: IUI #1 w/ only 1M sperm and a single follie = BFP! 
    Nov 2012: Little buddy born in Kenya
    Nov 2013: Trying for a second, still w PCOS
    Dec 2013: IUI cycle canceled for non-response
    Jan 2014: Break cycle BFP!

    Me-36, Unexplained Infertility, DH-35, all clear
    Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
    Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    I usually say something which her giant ego doesn't understand and then I get mad at DH. He never says anything which makes me furious
    So really my internal monologue is better. However my mother always lays into her over email which sometimes works, she told my mother she was humbled by our past experiences of course you would think she would then alter her ways ( yeah right). She has a super important job and went to one of the top 5 schools in the world so her ego walks into the room before her. Doesn't make her a smart or compassionate person.
