For those with toddlers what are some snack ideas? I'm looking for things that are not too messy yet healthy. DD is getting tired of goldfish and cheerios
I cut grapes in half. I also freeze the tubes of yogurt and she loves those! String cheese is great and mess free. Mini Plain rice cakes with pb between is also a favorite.
String cheese, baby bell cheese, apple slices, round cracker (like ritz, but organic and without the transfat), air popped popcorn, cucumber, shredded carrots, sliced pear.
I bought myself Krave cereal to try once. DD threw a fit until I let her try it. Now she's a fanatic... So I give my 2 year old chocolate... hahaha
And definitely seconding the veggie straws. If I don't eat all of them before she does. haha
And popcorn. DD goes CRAZY as soon as she hears the popping sound. If still fairly young, it might be worth your time to take some of the kernel husks left on the corn after popping and just giving pieces of "fluff."
In addition to everything above, DD likes freeze dried fruit and the Plum Organics Mighty Puff 'Ems, which look kind of like cheese puffs but without a ton of sodium and fat. I've just started to see both of those in a lot of stores, and they're really convenient. We also still buy the pouches-- she likes the Happy Tot fruit/veggie/grain kind. I know they're sugary, but I figure at least there are some vegetables in there somewhere and they're good if I need something I know she'll eat.
DS loves veggie straws, pirate's booty, snack pea crisps, applesauce (I put it in a reusable pouch), veggies with hummus, cheese, Craisins, dried crunchy fruit, quesadillas with cheese, refried beans, or guacamole inside.
I make pizza on a tortilla shell for my 14 month old with just a little bit of sauce and turkey, peppers, spinach, and mozzarella cheese and as long as you bake it long enough that the crust on the bottom is toasted it stays together quite well plus he gets introduced to various veggies...you could put onion or mushrooms or any other meat on as well. I also like to eat salsa mixed with cottage cheese with tortilla chips and my DS will just eat it off of the chip without eating any of the chips
Cheese, raisins, bananas, applesauce pouches, freeze dried fruit (mangos are a favorite with my son). He even likes taking bites off my whole apple. Steamed veggies are good too and we make a version of the Kale Spinach Bites that you can buy at Trader Joes.

Freeze dried fruit from target and seaweed strips from trader Joe's are always popular. Cubes of fruit and cheese and cut up bagel this with cream cheese are also consistent hits. Dh laughs at me for buying bagel thins, but they fit in toddler mouths way easier without needing to leave them open faced, so a lot less messy.
Pregnancy Week 15: You obviously made it to home, congrats! Your baby is the size of a baseball.

Receipie yield a ton and pretty quick if you just cut squares instead of using cookie cutters.
