If you were going to a party at the park, would you expect some kind of activities for the adults or just food and music? If activities, any recommendations?
I agree. I would really only expect food and something to entertain the kiddies a little (even if that was playing in the grass). Music and a game like horsehoes to pass the time would be an added bonus. I have never really been to a party where there were things for the adults besides sitting around chatting, maybe thats just here though.
Thanks ladies! We were thinking of bringing cards--Uno, Rook, etc. if anyone wants to play those--and I think maybe I will get a corn hole set if we can find one for cheap. (Thanks for that suggestion!) We don't have a ton of kids, so we were just thinking of some simple things like coloring for the ones old enough to do that.
We had our party yesterday. Not in a Park, in our yard. I had stuff for kids to do. The adults ate and chit chatted and watched their kids. Everyone seemed to have a good time.
If i filled my gingerale bottle with beer nobody would know. :P
(i used to do that when i was younger)
Apparently some of my high school friends used to do this and bring them to school, and I was totally naive and had no clue. (I didn't drink until college.)
