Long Weekend Sunshine!

What's good in the hood, ladies?  It's Memorial Day!  I hope those of us still working have a long weekend :)

I'm sure I'll add more later, but right now my sunshine is actually going to be on Monday when we take C to the parade in the center of town.

    @aandj I'm so jealous!! I'd love to be near a beach! I also will be getting hospital bag ready as well as some routine cleaning. Finally got all of our shopping done yesterday so that's a load off!

    I'm working right now (commencement at the College I work for), but when I'm done, I'm free!  Tomorrow we plan to bring DS to ride a real steam train for his birthday (which is Tuesday) and I hoped to sneak in a little fishing for him on his day too.  Other than that, just eating lunch outside today was a huge highlight of our weekend!

    No sunshine here, but Im not complaining.  We are getting some very much needed rain in SW OK which is also cooling the air keeping me from dying of heat and loving it.  DH has a 4 day weekend, and I got mon tues off from work so next fri, sat, evening are my last days of work forever :) So we are going to be just hanging out as a family at the house, getting the last things done on our list, and watching the parade on Monday with DS if it doesnt get cancelled.

    We're finishing up the floors on our house today!! Hoooraaaayy!! Already starting to clean the floors that are done and putting furiture back! Hoping to have it all done by tomorrow so Monday we can relax and do nothing all day but relax and sleep! Really hoping to take the dogs on a walk today but we'll see what time these guys leave.
    So much more to get done today.. But so much already done.. Finallyyyyy!

    I went to Target to get some last minute baby things and while I was gone DH finished most of his To Do list! I'm now exhausted and going to be planted on the couch watching hockey for the rest if the day. Go Kings Go!

    Dh's cousin/best friend and his wife are expecting a baby in October and we found out today it's a boy. Pretty excited that he'll grow up with Max. It's like my DH and his cousin 2.0 So cool!
