39w4d Popping Sensation?

My last appt was Monday at 39w1d  and doc said not dilated yet but 50% effaced.

I hear a lot of FTM's go around 41w ( a FTM friend of mine JUST did as well, a half hour shy of her induction day her doc scheduled!) so I know I may still have a bit to wait. (Obvi, I'm going insane but not concerned, just anxious and excited of course!)

So anyhow, has anyone felt a "popping sensation" this late in the game and could it be related to our insides starting to dilate perhaps? Sort of an odd question but it feels like something is popping, often at night before bed or getting up and down for bathroom use. It is not painful, though :)

    oh interesting! funny, too, because i even thought the other day it felt like her little hands were literally jabbing my hips or ovaries are something. she is finally due today now that it is past midnight here, but I am assuming she will be late at this point so I guess I have to wait and see if the popping continues until then :)
