AW: Tomorrow... :)

After 114 days, our sweet Cali will be coming HOME tomorrow!!! So excited to bring Miss Priss home, yet incredibly sad to be leaving her brother behind at the NICU for another month or two. (Camden has had a much rougher journey than Cali thus far.) She'll be coming home on O2 and apnea/bradycardia monitors, but home nonetheless. We're hoping that by the time baby boy is released he won't require any of that jazz.

(They were born at 25+0 and are now 41+2. Time flies!)

    Congratulations!!! I hope it's a smooth transition and that you won't need the monitors for long. Big hugs for having to leave Camden >:D<

    Congratulations!!   I know it makes it so much more difficult logistically to have one home and one at the hospital (been there done that up to a week ago?)  but oh to have one home!  I was very upset about it but looking back at it I can see that there was something nice about being able to give all your attention to the one at home while you are home..and all your attention to the other while you are at the hospital :)

    Thanks everyone! We are in a state of sheer exhaustion after rooming in with Cali at the hospital last night (she was up literally ALL night) but still very much looking forward to getting her home.

    @Missi576‌ - How did you handle the logistics of actually going back and forth the the hospital to see your other LO? DD will go with me to see DS and I know it will be tough. DH is taking a few days off to help with the transition of having a LO at home, but he's saving most of his time for with Cam comes home and we're finally all together.

    I couldn't take any of my children with me into the NICU :(  We had to take turns, hubby staying home one night with Olivia and I would go spend the evening with Alexandria.. the next night we would switch.  I had the NICView to hold me over on my nights off but that got less and less as she passed 40 weeks because she was always up in someone's arms .. so not on camera.  Soo.. I made the best of it and really concentrated on the one I was with.  

    I know it is hard, but it is temporary ~hugs~
