I was fully invested in buying a nice double stroller after LO gets here, but the other day my friend was surprised that I wouldn't just reuse my single and have my son walk when we go out. DS is going to be a little under 2 1/2 around my due date, and I know it isn't super young but I tend to frequent places like the mall, public parks, downtown areas that require a lot of walking, and we go to Disney World every so many months because we only live 4 hours away (and I think it's magical there). My son is very curious and sometimes takes off running and I think it'd be too much to watch him and try to push LO around, I also think that that's too much walking for a toddler (he almost always falls asleep in the stroller) and I'm going to regret it in the long run. I fully expected him to be in the stroller until he was almost 5.
Has anyone else given this any thought? Is my opinion in the minority? Thanks, ladies!

I don't plan on getting a double stroller though. I will wear the new baby most of the time. I wore DS 90% of the time until he was about 1 and stared protesting. If we go somewhere as a family like the zoo or aquarium DS will go in the umbrella stroller and baby will go in the jogging stroller. We typicaly use the umbrella stroller now with DS since he will alternate between sitting and walking when we go on outings. I really only use thw jogging stroller when I go on runs with him now.
