I need to vent.

My car broke down today. It's completely dead. It would cost more to fix it than the stupid thing is actually worth. I can't afford a new car either. I can't afford to fix this car, I can't afford to buy a new one, and I can't afford to not have a car because I have to work. I don't know what to do! I can't even get a loan for a car because my credit is so bad.

Dheirhejdbfjfjeosjfhjdos ugh.

  • Just want to say I understand how you feel.  I had to have my mom drive me to work for 2 months because of a similar issue.

Does your City have a permanent rental company? For $xx monthly payment and no credit check you drive off with a car. I have a friend who did this and she loves it. Cheap and immediate problem solver. Good luck!!
  • That's got to be really frustrating.  I'm sorry you're having to deal with it. Is public transportation an option?

I hate to be "that person" but if you can't afford to fix it/get another, can you afford a baby? I know it's a little late at this point because it's already coming but you might want to get a plan in place.

You're absolutely right, we can't afford a baby but we're doing the best we can. This baby wasn't planned, it's one of those times where birth control failed.
