Chemical Pregnancy

Has anyone else experienced a chemical pregnancy? I found out I was pregnant on Christmas Day and took another digital test the 26th. I had a little cramping and achiness and then Monday morning found pink on toilet paper. I took another pregnancy test and got a negative. Next time I'm not testing until a week after my missed period! Really bummed right now Sad

Sorry for your loss, I had one back in November. Take your time and TTC again when you feel like it, I found I felt better TTC again right away so I had something to look forward to.....GL!

I'm truly sorry to hear that. We had one in Aug. It was very hard. I stayed away from the boards for about a month, but no I come off and on. I can say I did cramp, not a lot, but the ones I did have really hurt. GL, and I wish you all the best

I'm so sorry! I heard that if you take vitamin B-6 it helps with this, obviously nothing is preventable. GL conceiving again!

I did in September. My story sounds similar to yours. Was not really late but took a test and got a faint positive. I got two more faint positives on FRER as the week went on. Then on the following weekend I had some very mild bleeding (thought it was due to DH and I having sex). I didn't take another test. A week or so later I took another test and it was negative. So I took two more and they were both negative. I am sorry to hear this, a chemical pregnancy can be very emotional. The good news is you can get KU and now you know that. It took us two cycles after the chemical pregnancy and now we are expecting again. The ladies on the pregnancy loss board were a great support when I had mine. GL to you.

Sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. I had one in August. It seemed like right when I let myself get crazy excited it was all over. I'm sorry you have to go through this, but I wish you all the best!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I am going through the same thing right now. I tested on the 26th and it was positive, and the following day it was negative. =( I'm heartbroken as well.

But I'm determined to keep trying. Best wishes for the new year!

Thanks ladies for all your support. My husband was bummed, but I don't think he really understood how I felt when I got that negative. I'm already looking to the end of this month to see if this time it will stick!

I just went through the samething, two weeks ago..got three postives...then I started bleeding...Called mw...and my hormones were too low to confirm pregnancy. She said it probably was a chemical and to keep trying, I can try again this cycle! Its hard none the less! I hope you get your bfp soon!
