Nipple tingle? :)

So after LO's done nursing, does your nipple kinda stay standing up and tingly for a while afterwards? Not quite sore but definitely "annoyed." No cracking or anything. Just tingles. Thanks for any help! :)

Yes, if he's nursing especially hard or long or often it feels like pin pricks for a while afterwards. Super annoying!

  • Yes that's what it's like. He's 5 wks. Does this go away? Glad to hear it's normal. But it does suck. (Small pun intended.)

  • Any time my nipples stand up, like if I'm cold, they tingle almost to the point of hurting.
  • Yep Kimberly me too. Think this will last the whole time?

From what I've read, it's actually a minor let down so.....probably?
  • I had that early on, especially with the cold. It did go away but I can't exactly remember when, maybe around 8-10ish weeks?

  • @Lhageme85‌ I hope! It's hard to know if there is something wrong with his latch when it does this. It seems right tho. So maybe I shouldn't be so paranoid and just wait for it to go away.
