3rd Trimester

Sleeping Issues

So we have 6 days to go. RCS May 30 due to pre-e. I don't know if it's just general nervousness but I'm having so much trouble sleeping. I'm tired all day and then am wide awake at 10pm & can't fall asleep. Or like tonight, I wake up & can't stop thinking of random things that can go wrong. I know it's not rational but my mind won't stop. Am I just losing it or is this something that happens to others? I had my daughters at 30 weeks, 5 days & their birth & hospital stay was traumatic. Maybe it's that? I have such great medical care & my parents are even here helping & the baby is doing so fantastic. I have nothing to worry about. Ugh. Why can't I relax?

  • I wake up and stress over things all the time, and it does get more stressful I think at the end of pregnancy in general, especially if you're at least a STM and know whats coming. Reality in the back of your mind, are you prepared enough and so on, and I know it keeps me up (which is why Im up now!). I had 2 pre-e births, the first completely an unmanaged traumatic wreck and the second very well-managed, and with being 6 days out, I would bet your drs are prepared to manage you well. Best of luck to you!

    This.
Good luck! I hope you find worry-free sleep. If you do, tell us where ;)
