  • I have a lot of friends this effects. Luckily none of them have small kids but anyone could get sick. I'm always worried it will happen here in the Central Valley d/t the cows. With half the town on well water we have had individualized outbreaks of other horrible microbes. DH thinks I'm nuts about our water safety.
  • We are right in the effected area!

    Where are you?

  • I'm in California. But wish I was in Oregon. I belong in Oregon. Over the last few years I've had so many friends and co-workers pick up and leave for Oregon. I do love Portland but I'm afraid it might scare DH, as he already thinks I'm a wracked out hippy. Hate to see what would happen if he actually met a hippy? Thinking about moving to the Willamette valley in the next year.
  • Willamette Valley is gorgeous

I didn't get a call or anything! Didn't find out until a friend text me... right after I took baby out of the bath. Ugh. Then I went to Fred Meyer to try and buy water - no dice - shelves were bare. I boiled water earlier here, too, although my husband managed to find a few 34 oz bottles on his way home. So glad I'm not formula feeding or I probably would have flipped the fuck out.

Hopefully we get the all clear tomorrow.
