Good Afternoon Ladies,
Lately I've been having a lot of back pain and I stocked this up of me not sleeping well and being pregnant. My OB just referred to a chiropractic that specializes in pregnancy. When I did my research and read that women who received regular chiropractic care during their 3rd trimester, carried and delivered with more comfort. Another study concluded that with regular chiropractic adjustments mothers decreased the need for analgesics by half during their delivery. It also revealed that new mothers who were adjusted regularly had a 24% reduction in labor time.
This all sounds wonderful but I've never been to a chiropractor before and I'm a bit nervous (I don't even pop my knuckles!) I was curious if anyone else is using a chiropractor and are they happy with the results? Also, what does one wear when getting adjusted?

Eta: words are really hard!
BUT, baby is transverse (still! I hoped we flipped head down, but the whole body just dropped down lower). And there are techniques in adjusting that can help open the pelvis and encourage baby flipping. Gonna call now!

My kids also see the chiro about every 4-6 weeks. It helps with ear infections and common colds.
With DD1, my DH's cousin was my chiro. He actually adjusted DD within a few days of being born. No cracking or crazy manipulating. Just some gentle pressure to put everything in it's place. (Think of how contorted they are in there!) she's always been super healthy, with hardly any illness and no ear infections. He's moved out of state recently, and I'm kinda bummed DD2 won't have the same treatment.
