Accupuncture after BFP- any importance?

So, I never really did acupuncture until this cycle that I finally got my BFP. I did it before and after transfer. I also did it before my second beta. Now, it could totally have been a coincidence that this cycle worked but I can't help but wonder. Anyways, the acupuncturist has me scheduled to go in on Monday (I will be 5 weeks 5 days). He of course talked about all the reasons it's a good idea to come after you get pregnant, etc. The hang up? It's 2 hours away! I usually go when I'm going to my RE (who's office is about 15 mins down the road from the acupuncturist) but it's REALLY inconvenient for me to go if I don't already have an established appointment at my RE's office.

Does anyone think it's worth it go? This sounds incredibly ridiculous but I guess I'm just so scared that I got this far what happens if I don't go?

Someone please talk me down to earth.

I think studies have shown there could be a positive correlation when done in conjunction with ivf, in regards to implantation. I meant to get it done starting a month prior to retrieval because I think it's suppose to also help with the symptoms of stims but I got lazy because I didn't have bad symptoms anyway. I told myself if it didn't work with the fresh I would definitely try it with the FET. I would say it can't hurt...but once you're already pg I don't think it matters as much. I don't think the health of your pregnancy will be affected by it at this point. My SIL swears by it, but mostly for her migraines so i think it's mostly a personal decision. Good luck and congrats!

I am one of the terrible ones who went for 2 months before my BFP. The last time I went was the day I got my BFP but I also changed jobs so my schedule didn't fit as well with his. I was doing acupuncture and also went to touch a fertility statue that is here in town, so when I got my BFP I questioned if it was because of those things too. Then my DH reminded me I was pregnant and those other things didn't matter. I think if its that far of a drive, then its really not worth going out of your way. Then again just my opinion. I went for about 3 months prior to my BFP. However, I did not like it. I thought it was boring and didn't feel any different after. I just didn't want to regret not going if it didn't work. I went for about a month after the BFP and then just had a breakdown and decided that I wanted to be a "normal" pregnant person and normal pregnant people don't go to acupuncture. Never went back after about 7 and, so far so good, at 24 weeks.
