Cold sores?!

Is this a pregnancy thing? I have never had a cold sore in my life and today this THING erupted on and around my lip. And it hurts like freaking hell! Anyone else having this? I'm getting the feeling this pregnancy is going to kick my ass....it's so early 6w1d and I've already got gestational diabetes and now cold sores?!

    I don't have a cold sore, but I've been having skin break outs.  I did just google, though, and apparently cold sores early in pregnancy is a "thing".

    I got a coldsore right before I found out I was KU. It's all te hormone changes you are going through right now.

    I have one too :( It showed up today and I wondered the same thing! On another note... How did you find out so early that you have GD? And what were the symptoms?

    I'm sorry to hear that you ladies are suffering from cold sores, I'm lucky enough not to have had any. My DH gets them and hates them. I have however been breaking out worse than I did in puberty. Stupid hormones.

    @9513‌ they tested early bc I had it last time...I think it's was coincidental since I was going to get blood drawn anyway. Didn't have any symptoms to speak of.
