DH/SO still interested....

I was just wondering ladies... your DH/SO still interested in doing the deed? To scared maybe? Not connected?

My DH says he wants to, then says he is scared/nervous because we had two back to back miscarriages (even though he heard the DR say it was OK), and otherwise does not seem interested in being intimate with me. He loves me and is kinda affectionate, but it doesnt go anywhere. However, that does not mean he would turn away a "favor" from me, if you know what I mean.

I kind of wish DH was a little less interested. Normally, before getting pregnant, if I said 'not tonight' he respected that, now I think he looks at it as a challenge. Which is ironic because I am less inclined to change my mind now that I am pregnant. However, I will say, we do get it on more now that I am KU, and it is definitely more \m/ then ever (huh... I feel like I crossed into TMI territory there, lol)

i'm going through this with DH. last night was the first night we've done it in quite a while. i think he's nervous about hurting me and the baby even though i've told him a million times it's fine. he just wasn't himself last night and i could tell he wasn't doing his usual stuff to avoid hurting me or putting pressure on me. i also havent initiated much so i can't say he's turning me down. he shows me a lot of affection and tells me im beautiful and sexy blah blah but sometimes i feel like it would be nice if he showed he 'wanted' me more. have you tried talking to him about it? i know it's awkward but when dh and i talk it does get a little better after the awkwardness.

The doc and I have told him otherwise, and he's never actually said it out loud, but I know him, and I've heard him make comments about others before...

DH doesn't mind it but I have noticed that he is alot more gentle with this thrusting these days.

Mine doesn't mind at all. Actually we've been doing it more lately. But he is a bit more gentle than he used to be.

We have been doing it less, not because of lack of interest on DH's part, but because I have not been interested. That said, we were cuddling last night and he brushed against my chest and I pretty much attacked him (in a good way). Maybe mama is getting her groove back!

P.S. It was pretty damn amazing, so maybe I understand about this whole increased blood flow thing a bit better now

Yes, we tried on the 11th after my SCH had stopped bleeding for a few days. It was so painful, even with lube because of my progesterone suppositories. We tried again this past weekend and it was okay. Hoping in the next week or two since I'll be done with the suppositories that things will be better.

Mine is not being nicer/more gentle at all. Not complaining, just seems that he doesn't think he's going to dent the baby's head :-)

We have talked about it and he "seems" concerned but it usually does not go further than that. I have expressed that I want to be close, sexually intimate, like before I was pregnant and all that. Sometimes In that moment he will be like "ok baby...we can do something." But it is not genuine and it is in spite of what I am saying. That turns me off. I do not ask for favors...DH will imply he needs something as if he is getting blue balls or something and want me to give him a "favor." Its irritating and starting to really bother me.

I'm a freak and like sex all the time. When I'm pregnant it's crazy stupid how often I can have sex.

If I want a quickie I have no problem pulling out the toy box and getting down to business.
