Still no sex :(

Sorry I'm sure this is TMI. I went for my six week check up today and the doctor told me I needed to wait 2 more weeks until we can have sex. I didn't realize how much I was looking forward to it until I was told i would have to wait. :(

    That's too bad - 2 weeks isn't that long though. I would be thrilled if my Dr said I had to wait longer! Tomorrow is the 6 week mark but I bought myself some more time by not booking my appointment yet.

    May I ask what the reason was? Difficult recovery?

    I was slightly inflamed and my doctor was concerned that sex could cause bleeding and/or tearing. I find it odd since I haven't been in any pain and have had a very easy recovery.

    I was told to wait 1+ week since my tear location is still really tight/tender. And I am in nooooooo rush. :p

    LO only sleeps for 45 min. stretches some nights, so mama's gonna get sleep whenever she can! Poor DH.

    It's sad because I'm not in the mood. I haven't had sex the entire pregnancy due to complications. I am nervous about my stitches, tired, not feeling sexual and my husband is getting on my nerves a lot. I was cleared by my doctor, but I wish I had another month. Feeling guilty and that I'm a bad wife. #:-S

    I am really nervous about what my doc is going to say at my appointment. I had 3 separate tears and am still seeing stitches coming out. (5 weeks) I'm also not sure if I have 100% feeling down there yet. Sometimes feels tingly where the stitches were/are. I really hope that's not permanent :(
    I couldn't make an appointment until 8 weeks anyways though so I still have a few weeks to recover before jumping into bed. DH has 9 days left until he's allowed to get frisky (had surgery) so at least he's not bugging me about it!
