Introduction

Hello Everyone! Just found out I am pregnant a few days ago with baby #1, so I have been lurking this board for a couple of days. I have actually been nervous to post an introduction, because it doesn't seem real yet! My husband and I will have been married for 2 years on June 2, and have been TTC since August of last year.

We plan on telling our parents on father's day, my first prenatal appointment is the Friday before. I am trying to think of cute ways to tell them. I will probably wait until my 2nd trimester to tell everyone else (everyone else being facebook)

    Congratulations! We just found out we are pregnant with Baby #1 as well...and I agree, it doesn't seem quite real yet. Thanks for your post - it gave me the little bit of confidence I needed to comment for the first time!

    I have an early appointment next Wednesday (early because I was on a medication to help with ovulation)...I'm hoping it'll really "sink in" then!

    One idea (that we have...and you're welcome to borrow/steal) is to announce on Father's Day via a "Grandpa" gift. Probably a T-Shirt and a Book :)
