This is probably a stupid question but...

how exactly do your LOs manage to roll over in the crib? When my little guy rolls onto his side, he is so close to the crib rails that I don't see how he could ever fully roll on to his tummy.

  • I don't know but he manages. Sometimes he gets turned 180 degrees in the crib with his feet up the side. When he's in our bed, he rolls one way or the other so he's smashed up against DH or smashed up against me. If it gets bothersome we try to move him back to the middle but he's a snuggler so he comes right back.

  • Just give it time. It will happen! DD usually pushes off the sides with her legs and gets far enough on one side so she can roll without crashing into the side. Just enjoy that LO isn't yet cuz once they can they randomly wake in the middle of the night crying cuz they don't wanna be on their tummies anymore.

Mine manages to roll onto her belly and then back her legs through the rails so they are hanging out and her butt is against the rail. That's how I found her asleep earlier this week.
