My God my appetite is out of control. I'm STARVING. Baby must be growing fast now that I'm in second trimester. I could eat two burritos right now. I feel like such a fat kid.. Anyone else feel this way?
I'm every 2 hours! This is day 3 of trying to eat better, until now I've been giving in to my cravings but I'm trying hard to get a handle on it now that I can eat fruit and veggies again. I still have to eat often just not big meals, they make me feel terrible.
Ya, I'm hungry at all times. I have Special K bars at my desk and fruit and veggies at all times so that I can snack and not feel terrible about myself. I had cereal for breakfast and I am on "second breakfast" now with pineapple and cottage cheese.
I am always hungry too! I need to eat every two hours or I get queasy. I keep little candies in my pocket at work, and in my purse, because sometimes between all my 'meals' I need a little something else to get me by. I try to eat healthy things, but I find that if I eat an apple, or something, I am hungrier quicker and a lot of meat proteins make me ill. I feel like I'm constantly eating carbs ( I've never been afraid of the scale like I am these days!
I was pretty hungry for the last two weeks, but it seems to have calmed down a bit the last few days and I'm eating about the same amount as I was before getting pregnant. I do have to say that it helps if I don't let myself get too hungry, so I pretty much constantly eat at my desk- so far I've had Special K cracker chips, half a grapefruit and a banana (plus breakfast this morning) and I still have an hour before lunch and I feel pretty good.
Also, I'm sure everyone knows this, but if you try to eat protein and fiber at every meal it really helps to keep those hanger pains away.
When DH gets home from work he always ask me, "so what did you have for your first dinner?" LOL, I seem to eat two breakfasts, lunches and dinners everyday... I try to keep it healthy but its so hard when the doritos are calling my name....
I felt this way over the weekend and I was feeling like my abs were really getting stretched. The past 2 days, I haven't had much of an appetite. I wonder if the baby had a growth spurt this past weekend. Can that happen?

So before eating my burrito for lunch (which by the way was AMAZEBALLS) I tried going to the vitamin shoppe to pick up a myoplex light protein shake to drink before my burrito so I wouldn't eat too much and to buy some extra shakes for snack later and they were sold out.. It was a sign that I should eat my entire burrito.. And I did and I enjoyed every bite. Now off to the grocery to find those shakes before I become the biggest pregnant girl ever!
Re: SO Hungry
Yeah, its bad......everyone around keeps telling me I better slow down
I can't help it......its not like I am eating out of boredom, or emotionally eating.....I AM JUST HUNGRY!
If my belly is growling, I feed it.
