Coming to join you all - Intro (c/p mentioned)

Hi Everyone. My wife (C is how I refer to her) and I have been on the TTC train for almost a year now. I am 30 and she is 29 (for those who are mobile). We went straight to a RE as we are a same sex couple using donor sperm. A friend suggested we not waste our time with an OB who may not be knowledgeable enough. Needless to say, I'm glad we listened.

Here is a our journey in a nutshell...

We have attempted for 8 cycles now. Three did not end in an IUI - first our sperm didn't arrive when we needed it. Then for the other two, I over responded and we cancelled. Our first three cycles were with Femara and all were BFNs. I then had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis, which was removed. I also had a uterine septum which was worse than what my RE originally thought. This was also fixed. We then started with Gonal-F. I over responded the first cycle. The second ended in a c/p, which resulted in a break cycle. Then a BFN and most recently I over responded again.

For many reasons, C and I have decided to move to IVF, which is what brings me over here to you all - I have been lurking a bit. We had our IVF consult yesterday. When CD 1 comes, I will get started with the basic blood work and then start BCP. He said he was thinking ER the first week of July. I'm not 100% positive that it will work out that way, but I'm hoping that it does. I will be using Gonal-F since I respond so well, diluted HCG, ganarelix (sp?) and of course Ovidrel and Endometrin. Our plan is to use my eggs and I will carry. She is not interested in carrying nor is she interested in using her eggs at this point.

@IFinTN - Thank you. I will certainly join when the July group gets started and I will also join in on the Hanging on to a Dream.

I am familiar with @healz413 and @manada and their journey. They have been a great support for me.
