Nervous Lurker Intro

So excited about Lurker Amnesty Day that I just pumped what appears to be a good 1+oz onto my jammies. 

Here goes...I'm a WAHM in Wisconsin. I do writing and editing work for a marketing agency PT. I lurk everyday while I pump for my LO, Emerson. I used to post here and there on the Sept13 board when I was KTFU but when he was born 10/10 I switched over to be with you lovelies. 

Had a rather scary birth with Lil Dude. I almost bled out and had two transfusions. Had planned to do a homebirth, but ended up inducing when he was 3 weeks late. If I had waited and gone thru with the homebirth, I'd probably be 6 feet under. So, needless to say, I'm happy with what happened. 

LO was born with a very asymetrical nose, but I think he's the cutest thing ever. He's a teething demon right now. Just bought an amber teething necklace, but I'm not sure if it's the real deal or witchcraft.

I'm tech-impaired, so my avatar is sideways and I have zero practice posting pics. Forgive me, won't you?

    @hlb622 Yay, I knew there was another Emerson mommy! We named him after the author Ralph Waldo Emerson b/c we're big, geeky readers. What nickname do you use? I know, enough female Emersyns and crap! It's EmerSON, meaning "SON of".

    @egsquared LOVE the Dells! There's seriously no shortage of things to do there. We try to go once a year at least. LO loved the indoor waterpark at our hotel.
