So I realize that the Lurkers coming out hasn't gotten off to a great start. However, I'm going to intro anyway, as I don't think I'm an asshat.
My name is Kelsie, I'm 24 and from northern Alberta, Canada. I work in the oilfield as a Power Engineer (not the fancy kind with a degree, I wear coveralls to work) and live here with my beautiful first child, Hannah, and our two dogs.
I had Hannah on October 23, via emergency c section, 5 days before her EDD, due to preeclampsia.
I've been around since first tri, but as a FTM with a surprise baby- I'm also an only child and basically never held a baby until they put Hannah in my arms, I was clueless and scared shitless. Then in seeing so many women get chewed out by CV that I became scared to ask or contribute anything and went all ::homer into bushes:: I think I may have also referred to her as cousin icky. So sorry.
I don't care if you crate your dog, as long as you don't beat him or subject him to dog fighting. The crates in the humane society are real small, and they don't get out of those ones much at all.
I don't care if you BF or FF, I was FF and I are just fine. I kid, I kid LOLZ.
As far as BLW vs purées, I fail to see how it will make a difference in the long run.

Seriously ladies, thank you for welcoming me. I know I've been nothing but a stalker, I mean lurker, but this board has gotten me through a lot of the tough times that I've had in becoming a mom. Whether it was just knowing I wasn't the only one feeling/going through the same things or just something to make me LOLZ when I really needed a laugh. The vacuum lips gif the other day made me wake up my child.
Yep, they are amazing dogs! He was great with my little sister, she could take food out of his mouth or climb all over him and he would just lay there.
It's completely how you raise them! Any dog can be an asshole. Duke is scared of kittens haha. Completely harmless, just big!
