Three Good Things Thursday

Really need this today, as I contemplate throwing my laptop off the roof to pursue a career in latte making. Seriously, I am so OVER IT with the stress of this job and our current climate.

1) BEAUTIFUL day out today. Seriously, just perfection.

2) Getting a cut and color tomorrow (inspired by last week's thread!)
3) Long holiday weekend ahead with little to no plans and can't wait to just RELAX

And a bonus one 4) Baby girl kicking up a storm lately which just feels so good. I had a moment last night where James and I were snuggling, and baby girl was kicking, and I just felt so happy I almost cried.

1. I finally got my period after two full days of cramps and being 5 days late.

2. There are only a few days until Saturday.

3. It rained so I didn't have to water my plants.

1) going to get my hair done today!

2) Going out of town overnight for a wedding and leaving the kids behind. The main reason I'm excited is bc I get to sleep a whole night without being woken up by a screaming baby.

1. SUN!!!!

2. I want to say sun again, but instead I'll note that I got a good review and raise yesterday. (Yes, reviews didn't happen until May...)

3. I feel like the hubs and I may be on the mend. Although we probably need to hash out a few more things, I can tell he's making some effort on some of the things I complained about like never being affectionate or saying I love you. That prompts me to want to work harder on fixing the things that bother him. Hopefully I don't have to continue contemplating the possibility and difficulty of life as a divorced mom with two kids. : /

1) Long weekend this weekend!!!

2) Going to a baseball game with our friends and their baby on Sunday

3) The pool opens this weekend!!

4) Baby-free date night on Saturday and my mom is keeping the baby overnight!!!!

5) Only 6 more days of teaching until exams and then summer!

Sorry, that's 5. I'm an English teacher, so counting has never been my strong point ;-)

1. My mum gets into town tomorrow for 10 days! Havent seen her since Thanksgiving, and its amazing watching her and Finny.

2. Mum getting into town means DH and I are going on a dating binge! She's made it clear (in a super sweet and funny way) that Finny is the sole reason for her visit and she doesnt mind not seeing us.

3. I'll hop on the weather band wagon, totally loving it!

@Kate_C‌ I'm glad you feel like things are on the mend!! 1. Ava has taken to speaking very properly out of nowhere. Example from today: "Mom, shall we go play in the basement?". It's freaking cute. 2. I'm drinking a glass of wine right now. 3. I feel like I've been a bit more involved lately, after feeling like I was doing more lurking than posting. I've missed being a reg! 4. My Mother's Day flowers are still thriving, which is cool.

1. I'm excited for DH to have a 3 day weekend. (He only gets Sundays off, so this is HUGE for us)

2. My house is spotless.

3. DD is poo'n as I type. This is a celebration in our house. Ever since the switch to WCM and added supplements with iron, she tends to have a "hard" time. (Pun intended

A is still napping so I get to bump.
I'm calling in tomorrow to spend the day with my grandpa.
My parents are visiting.
And even though DH has to work sat and sun he has Monday off and my parents will leave Monday morning so we will have the evening together

1) Went for a nice long walk with a friend this morning for exercise, and then went shopping too.

2) SIL (who lives with us) is away until Monday because of work. It's nice having the house to ourselves every now and again.

3) DH is working all weekend (boo) BUT he gets tomorrow off instead, yay!!

OMG, I have never been there but when I used to manage all the programming for Best Buy's HDTV Wall, we shot some AMAZING underwater footage there... it was so beautiful.
