Hey ladies!
Ok I know I'm probably overreacting here but I'm kind of freaking out and PGAL brain isn't helping. I am 15.5 weeks and I was walking down the carpeted stairs with socks on and slipped down a few stairs. I didn't land on my belly and caught myself with my feet and hands (landing on my butt) but I'm worried. I just checked him on the doppler and his heart is beating but I feel so guilty and can't help thinking I hurt him. Realistically I know that he is well cushioned in there and that it's a good thing I didn't land on my belly. Please talk me off the ledge. Has this happened to any of you and everything was OK? I don't have cramping or bleeding/spotting. Thanks and sorry for my crazy.
Re: PGAL brain - Slipped down the stairs
And - for reassurance - I fell in ice twice - landing on hip/butt both times - which sounds similar to your fall in impact - once probably around 17 or 18 weeks once maybe 24 or 28 and my little girl is in my arms now and a-ok. But calling to check is still a good idea - I didn't b/c I had an u/s the next day anyway but got told I should have. Well that wad the second fall which was harder - the first one I didn't tell anyone about about until now.
