My kid is WIRED

The last few days this boy has been wired for sound. He's keyed up, he's hyper, and he's like a little energizer bunny, he just goes and goes and won't nap or at least not for very long. He sleeps fine at night (thank Heaven) but during the day he's really become a handful.

That and he's eating all the things. We've had to dip into the freezer stash the last 3 days because he is eating everything in sight and I know I'm not making less because I track. Yesterday evening the only thing that calmed him down was his damn banana and he shoveled half the banana in his face in record time and then looked smugly at us.

Nothing in his routine has changed so I have no idea what could be causing it. I have a cup of regular coffee in the morning, but I always have. He seems happy enough, he's just on fire all the time. And Heaven help you if he gets bored or you give him anything less than your undivided attention. Cue pterodactyl like screeching.

Anyone else having issues like this?

    @jms1484 OMG the screeching. I really hope they grow out of that. :-|

    They do. Just ignore. But I think the pterodatcyl screech made about 3 separate (short) appearances when DD1 was little!

    Oh, and I say 6 month growth spurt. I think we're in the same boat, though it's a little earlier -- A just outgrew all of her 6 month onesies overnight! Plus she's eating like a pigs and up like 3 times a night (ugh). We haven't started solids yet, but this is pushing me to the brink!
