  I figure we'll do one in a week or two (6-8 weeks old), mostly because we like to have deck parties and because DH just finished a huge remodel in our living room and we want to show it off (oh yeah, and we made a human, and want to show that off too...) lol

  My mom is hosting a "open house" to meet the baby and "say goodbye to the house". they are moving and sold the house that has been in the family since it was built 45yrs ago.

  I was going to do a sip and see them everyone that mattered ended up seeing the baby on their own and it just became pointless. I wasn't asking for gifts so really no need to have a separate party for just him- he'll get his special party at his 1 year bday

  We aren't, but the next time around I am totally throwing a diaper party for my husband. I just dropped $200 on diapers for baby and toilet paper for us. Who knew shitting yourself would be so expensive?
