Lame.... First appointment pushed later.

Didn't post yesterday as it was a pretty crappy day.

It was supposed to be a good day, because it was finally going to be my first appointment and ultrasound....but as luck would have it, at 2am the night before, my DS woke up vomitting. And again at 4am. We JUST got past stomach issues a couple weeks ago, and now this...on the one night I didn't need it to happen.

So.. being around the vomit and also the anxiety around having to deal with this again made ME nauseated and sick, and then my H started getting sick too (It may have been something we all ate, not sure), and so that combined with needing to keep my DS home from daycare caused me to have to call and reschedule my appointment at the last minute...... and of course, the soonest they could reschedule for is June 11th, when I'm 10 weeks.

I'm pretty bummed.... logically, I know waiting until 10 weeks to go in isnt abnormal and isn't really a big deal but, it just really sucks to get all excited about it and now I have to wait another 3 weeks again. Ah well.

I may call periodically to see if anything opens up, but I already know all of next week is out of the question since my doc will be on vacation.

Everyone seems to be better today.. so far. I went ahead and sent DS to daycare because he went longer than 24 hours without vomiting again and there's been no other symptoms so...fingers are crossed tight it was just something he ate and it wont come back. God I hate stomach bugs so much, they give me so much anxiety.
