Everything went great with the a/s. Again baby was super stubborn and we spent 1.5 hours (same with the NT) in the ultrasound room. Doctor came in and said everything looked great, and also informed me my test results came in and I DO NOT HAVE LUPUS! Yay!!
However, we got home and the doctors office called, and the doctor wanted to speak to me. He said that while filling in the report, he noticed the babies head is a little larger than average, and the leg/arm bones are smaller than average. Sooo my 1/1200 chance of down syndrome went to 1/200. He said I can do 3 things, nothing, maternit21 test, or an amnio. I am tempted to do nothing, but may consider the blood test. I wouldn't do an amnio. I'm not really too concerned just because every other test has come back so good, nasal bones, fluid, blood, etc... A friend of mine was told she had a 1/17 chance and her baby had the same exact thing throughout her entire pregnancy and has a completely healthy baby girl.... thoughts??
Anyway, here is our reveal photo!
Re: AW: A/S and It's a...
We had a slight marker at our a/s and did the blood test. Very quick and non invasive.
Congrats on your little boy and I love the announcement!
