Hi! Spotting question

Hey everyone! I just found out today I am pregnant (3w4d, based on FF) and my EDD is 9/10/09. Hoorah!

My question -- I've had spotting - really heavy brown spotting - for the past 4 days, including today. There was a little bit of reddish/pinkish in there, but that was only briefly.  Is this pretty common?

    I had lots of spotting during my first trimester -- everything from three weeks straight of brown spotting - to several episodes of bright red bleeding. My doctor said it's much more common than most people think -- so try not to worry.

    As early as you are, it's likely just implantation spotting.

    Congrats! I had some spotting in 1st tri too....most likely implantation bleeding, but you should always check with your dr. about any bleeding.

    hello! congrats! I just went to the doctor for that today because i freaked out. I'm 9 weeks and i had this happen a few weeks ago and again last night. It's normal. My doctor scared me and told me that it might be that my hormone levels are not high enough, meaning there is a chance i might be miscarrying...i freaked! however i had blood test done and its normal..phew! everyone is different. No one I knw has had this, until I did my own research online..check webmd.com very helpful sight. My advice, if you feel uneasy call or go in to see your doctor,,,you will feel better! Smile

    I had spotting all last week. In fact it started at 9dpo when I got my first faint line on a hpt. Call you dr. if you are worried about it, but I am sure it is nothing to worry about.

    I had brownish spotting from 12-14dpo. I heard some spotting in the first tri is normal, but you can always call your doctor for peace of mind.
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    I had spotting for two days which was really confusing b/c it started the day I was supposed to get my period and I had the usual cramps and everything, but I found out a week later that I was pregnant. From what I've read, that's pretty normal so dont worry.
