Real or Imaginary Attitude

Lately every convo I have with people puts me on the defensive and I assume everyone has a bad attitude..I've also heard from many women that there's one person in particular that you cannot stand while pregnant. Wondering if you guys have experienced any of this?

Re: Real or Imaginary Attitude

  • I'm not sure I understand what your'e saying. I didn't find myself hating any particular person during my last pregnancy, and I didn't find myself defensive. Well, maybe after the same lady at work told me 100 days in a row how big I was getting, but that's about it. ;)

I'm not annoyed with or hating on anyone currently, either.

  • Oh yeah. I got into a yelling match with one of my running partners this morning out of the blue. I just didn't like her opinion and she's making my skin crawl lately. Pre-pregnancy this was not an issue. I'm a huge bitch right now. I promised myself after the incident that I'm going to consciously try to control it.

The only bad attitude I find when I am pregnant, especially early on, is my own.

I guess I can say I hated one person while I was pregnant with DD but I had reasons too. My boss at the time treated me like garbage. There were a good amount of things.. but one thing I will always remember (and funny this is one of the small things) was the day I was 38 weeks, hips were so painful and it was painful for me to get up and sit down (though once up or down I was fine).. and he wanted to talk to me. His office was 20 feet away from my desk and he asked me to get up to talk to him. It's such a little thing, but I'll always remember that he didn't care enough to just get his ass up to talk to me.

I haven't hated anyone but I have certainly been a bitch to everyone.  It's like an out of body experience, I know I'm being hateful and rude and I shouldn't be, but the words just come flying out of my mouth.
My husband last week said to me "Listen, I know you're pregnant and all but that is not an excuse to treat me like shit!" I felt bad  (:|
