Kendall vs Kiersten?

What are your thoughts? I love both but feel that Kendall is a bit Kardashian. I have already had to say K-EAR-sten not KIR-sten several times.

I've never been a Kendall fan. I prefer Kirsten (KEER-sten) spelled like this, though. I like it.

I really like both Kiersten and Kirsten. I would expect both are one of those names where someone's always going to be pronouncing/spelling it wrong, though.

I much prefer Kiersten. I do think you will have to correct people but not in big deal way if that makes sense.

Kendall = ken doll

It's not a good name. As a woman, would you want this to be your name? That's how I always think about a name I'm considering. Kiersten is nms but much better than Kendall.

I really like pp's suggestion of Keira.

I adore Kiersten. It's my niece's name and she's one of the very best, one of the most amazing people I know so I am way biased. Kendall also has always sounded like a boy name to me.

I've always felt this exact same way about the name Amanda. It's not a good name. It's not pretty sounding or feminine. I just don't get it. As a woman I would never want this to be my name and can't understand why anyone would choose it.
