  Am I the only one that thinks that miraculous 2nd tri energy bump is a wicked lie?  Less of a bump and more like imperceptible rise?  Or maybe it is just because I am old.

  I liked 2nd tri more with DS1. I felt cute, had energy, loved feeling sweet little baby movements, etc. However I think I like 3rd tri more with this LO. I have not been nearly as uncomfortable this time around, I was sleeping well until a couple weeks ago and my bump didn't really show up until 3rd tri either this time.

  With DS, I loved the 2nd tri. I was out doing stuff, looking cute, feeling great... 3rd tri was a big ball of RLP, heartburn, waddling, and bed rest. Who knows what this PG is going to bring now that I'm 6 years older; it's already a different rodeo with 1st tri (so much sicker/more tired).

  I was still puking up until about 20 weeks and I did not feel that supposed boost of energy or that supposed boost of sex drive . Yes @MsAmandaPants‌ I agree its a big lie! Lol. Now, that I'm 34 weeks, I am very uncomfortable (but I have scoliosis, so I've kinda learned to live with being uncomfortable and its not a big deal to me).
  
  But, I chose 3rd tri because feeling her move, even when it's a painful karate chop to the rib, is the absolutely most amazing feeling in the world! Last night, DH was reading her a story and she got all perky and flippy. Best. Thing. Ever!

  I just hit third trimester last week, and I already feel fatigued again. So, second tri was definitely the best for me. Other than having a belly, I didn't really feel pregnant - I felt like my usual self.

  Second, hands down.
  
  First is a PgAL mess for me (2 first tri losses here). Third brought me pre-e with DS and GD with DD....not to mention paranoia about a late loss. So, second wins my vote. The a/s is nervewrecking, but the rest aint bad.

  I have liked 2nd tri the best both with DD and with this one too. I had a cute bump both times and felt cute in my clothes. I had lots of energy and was motivated to get stuff done.   2nd tri. I had my appetite back, I had energy...no sex drive, though, and when we do have sex it's painful, which sucks. But now I just feel like LO is constantly pulling on my skin, my energy is depleted, I'm going through a bottle of Tums a week, and I miss sleeping on my back and belly. I'll still take all of this over 1st tri with its nausea and worrying, though.

  Not to go all "talk to me when you get to 3rd tri" on you, but I must say that for me, the 2nd tri energy is more obvious in retrospect than when I was in it.  I didn't realize that between weeks 28 and 30 I would just CRASH.  Of course, everyone's different.  But I would say I felt on the tired side of relatively normal in 2nd tri, versus the crushing fatigue of 1st tri and the just plain wiped the hell out of 3rd tri.  And I am old too.

  I absolutely loved 3rd tri. 1st tri was all worry and trying to keep secrets, then I had horrible hip pain during 2nd tri. I just loved when he was so big I could feel his little butt, elbows and feet stick out and I would poke at him and he'd kick back. It was just so amazing. I miss it so much and can't wait to experience it again! Now after 39 weeks was a different story. I made it to 41 weeks - still felt great but boy was that 9lb1oz baby heavy in there!!!
