Seeing blood...have a question

So while this is baby #5, I've never lost my plug before labour. I've been having red tinged mucous discharge for a few days now. Today I haven't hardly had any, but I just had wet panties that were dark pink/light red tinged and I see light red when wiping. Does this mean my plug is gone and I'm slowly leaking amniotic fluid? I've had no contractions. Wonder how much red or wetness I should see before it means something wrong? I have a dr appt at 9am tomorrow.

  • Hope you called your Dr. And went into L & D by now, but if you haven't do it now!
  • With my DS I had plans to labor at home as long as possible with a doula before going to the hospital. Then I had period like blood filling a maxi pad, which turned out to be amniotic leak and mucous plug most likely. But I went straight to L&D. You don't want to mess around with a possible placental abruption or any other potential issues!
