DD has always had some mild eczema and sensitive skin, thanks to my lovely genes. In the winter it looks more like dry patches with occasional red dots on her back, face, and belly.
We've had two "heat waves" ( we live in Michigan, so from 55 to 75/80) and she gets the red raised bumps that look more like pimples from the heat. These are behind her knees, close to her arm pis, belly, neck area, and upper arm.
Is it normal for the weather to change where she gets them? I know most are areas that sweat, which she does a lot, but it's just different than what I'm used to.
I usually treat with aquaphor, but I think with these being from heat, putting that on would be counter productive.
I mainly have it on my feet as an adult, but had it similar to her as a child.
DS takes after DH and never had these issues.
Re: Eczema flare up from warm weather on a toddler?
I'm getting groceries tomorrow and was going to see what eczema lotions they had, sounds like it won't do much good.
