My kid loses his shit every single time because he can't eat the bagel before we pay for it.
The other day at trader joes the cashier gave me flowers for free out of pity, while DS wailed at the topic his lungs because he can't push the cart.
Today we went to tumbling class for the second time and he cried and fought me for most of the half hour. Because he doesn't want to sit, doesn't want to take turns, blah blah blah.
DD lost her shit at Chuck E Cheese last summer because she saw the man dressed as Chuckie. That's the last time we step foot in that place for a long time to come..
I'm dying at "why won't you let me eat strawberries."
He just freaks so badly. He's pissed because he doesn't want to stop wearing his current shoes and he doesn't want to try on shoes and the only shoes he wants are pink flashy shoes that are twenty bucks more than the blue shoes. If he'd pick regular pick shoes, fine. But he wants crazy expensive pink shoes and that's gotta be a no.
He tries to bolt and he won't stand so we can see if the shoes fit and he tries to pull boxes down and tags off and throw shoes.
And we couldn't leave today because he ripped the only damn pair that still fit and so we needed new shoes. I'm fairly sure the new ones fit.
Last time we went shoe shopping at Nordstrom, my kid scaled the 3 tiered shoe display to get a balloon. He also refused to let the sales person put his foot in the measuring thing ("I DO IT BY MYSELF"), knocked over a mannequin, and pulled the tablecloth off the crayon table, bring the crayons, paper, and a display of kid jewelry (???) with it.
He left happy but I was in tears. From now on, I'm ordering his shoes online.

At home he's pretty good. In public I'm THAT MOM.
