NBR: Boudoir Photo Shoots

Anybody had these done?  There was a groupon deal that was just too good to pass up, so burying any insecurities I feel about my post-baby body, I bought a deal for one!  I know (well, sincerely hope) that DH will love them to bits, so I'll just have to save them for his birthday or something.

I'm terribly shy, but since having a baby (and baring all int he delivery room), I'm a lot cooler with the idea of this than pre-baby.  Plus - breastfeedng boobs!  I definitely plan to schedule for a time when I'm nice and full ;-)  Anyway - any experience with these?  Tips?

    I did! Same as megandchase. It was a wedding gift for my husband. I did it with our wedding photographer who does now all of our family portraits. Someone I was really comfortable with. I did some with my husband ties, our favorite football team's colors, and a few lingerie. It was a lot of fun and awesome to have the pictures now.!

    I did something similar before I got married. It was our wedding photographer, whom I knew years before. You definitely need to be comfortable with the person. Some suggestions- make sure your makeup is shine free, or add powder to your face. Being in the light can make you sweaty. I would probably drink a glass of wine beforehand too. lol

    My photographer also did my makeup and hair which was awesome because I only own eyeliner and mascara!!!

    I know a girl who had boudoir pics taken....pregnant... And then posted them on Facebook. Her photographer posted them on her Facebook page too.

    If you're on Facebook, look up mag pie photography. There are tons of boudoir pictures on there.

    The package comes with "Aesthetic consultation with airbrush makeup and hair styling".  Which is good, because I don't normally wear make-up, and wouldn't know what to do with myself.  If I didn't have to drive myself, I'd totally have some wine beforehand.  Maybe I'll see about finding a friend to drive me!
    Or just bring a wine cooler with you. Just sayin'. LOL. But, what it really comes down to is what YOU want, and what your comfortable with. If he/she wants you in poses that your not comfortable with, let them know. I only did shots with a nightie on. Nothing showing (except maybe some cleavage), laying and sitting positions. Maybe you can pinterest what types of poses you like, and go from there? So at least the photographer knows what your comfortable with and what you want.

    @kari5186‌ maybe! I can't imagine that many women get pregnant boudoir photos taken and then put them on Facebook for everybody to see. Does your friend by chance live in Arizona?
