I had a patient today that slapped her 20 y/o daughter across her face for being a drunk bitch and trying to drive while drunk. The daughter struck her back, and a fight ensued.
What would you do?

I have actually been slapped straight across my fucking face for being an ungrateful bitch when I was 16 by my mom....I cried. I would never strike my mom. #lestshekillmeinmysleep

Sounds like that mom raised a daughter trying to make poor choices. Hopefully the daughter straightens her ass up quick! My 36 year old self would not slap my mom. I don't think I'd ever have slapped my mom. I've always been respectful toward parents/aunts.

I voted SS. Normally I would not hit her back. Being really drunk is hard to say what I would do. I would like to think I wouldn't hit her back but its hard to say how I would react.

I would never hit my mom but also my mom would never slap me either even if I was driving drunk. I would however possibly expect a mother who slaps their child to most likely have their child slap back since that was how possibly the child was taught to react to conflict by the mom.

Probably not always the case but this would be my assumption.

What I would do is avoid being a drunk bitch so my mom didn't feel like she needed to slap me. But if my mom did slap me, I would be waaayyy to surprised to hit her back.

I voted "never hit my mom", but my mom raised us not to hit to start with. So I dont think it would be an issue to start. Plus I am so desperately afraid to disappoint my mom as it is, that I couldn't imagine me being so stupid.

I would never hit my Mom, and she slapped in the face once for smoking. I just told her I didnt want to lie but she made me lie. I told her that I'm gonna smoke and she finally stopped bugging me.
