sh** I think my hubby gave my first 2 pio shots to low....

I was looking in the mirror this morning at my butt (lol) and I noticed where he injected me was lower then in the video. In the video it looks like it is slightly above the crack. He did the injection slightly below the crack. My first pio shot is still sore, but I don't feel anything from the one last night. Now I am worried we messed everything up.
TTC since May/June 2012 
Sept 2013 testing:
SA #1 Low motility (17%) 
SA #2 Lower sperm count, but much higher motility
CD 3 Bloodwork and ultrasound - Normal HSG - Clear tubes 
Oct/Nov 2013 Cycle 1 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN  
Nov/Dec 2013 Cycle 2 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN 
Jan/Feb 2014 Cycle 3 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN 
2/20/14 Follow up consult RE recommends IVF with ICSI 
3/10/14 New patient consult with RMA NJ 
3/11/14 AMH and other Bloodwork to prep for IVF with ICSI at RMA NJ
3/28/14 Saline Sonogram - All good
March/April 2014 IVF #1 Antagonist Protocol
BCP/Bravelle/Menopur/Ganirelix

    Thats good that you don't feel anything! I've been on PIO shots for 3 weeks now and i'm so happy on the days where I don't feel anything the next day! This is my second time on PIO shots. The first time I felt pregnancy like side effects and this time I haven't. Making sure you do them high up definitely helps. I warm them up and do a heating pad and a little massage afterwards to help. I have also found that if I get a lump from one and I do the next shot on that same side too close to the lump it hurts and the pain lasts longer. GL! Enjoy these shots  ;)

    Married 10/2007 TTC since 2013 
    IVF#1: Jan 2014 - Lupron trigger - due to high risk of severe OHSS; E2 at trigger - 6984  
    ER - 1/28 35 retrieved, 22 mature, 14 fertilized (ICSI) 
    ET - 2/2 cancelled due to mild OHSS 6 blasts frozen 
    FET #1: Mar 2014 - long lupron protocol 
    5/6/14 - Two blasts transferred, one hatching! 
    5/11 5dp5dt BFP! Beta #1 262 (9dp5dt), Beta #2 756 (13dp5dt), Beta #3 1738 (15dp5dt)
    6/3/14 - u/s showed one beautiful baby with a heartbeat of 123, EDD 1/19/15

    Unfortunately (per my instructions, anyway), it is supposed to be above the crack.
    TTC #1 since 2011 · Me (35, PCOS, AMA, abnormal eggs) and DH (47, MFI)
    2012-2013: 3 Clomid cycles, 3 IUIs, all BFNs
    IVF #1 January 2014: 14R/12M/9F 1 transferred, 3 frozen = BFN
    FET #1 March 2014: 1 transferred = BFFN · FET #2 May 2014: 2 transferred = BFFN
    IVF #2 June 2014: 24R/11M/10F 6 PGS tested: 1 normal embryo, 1 with no result
    FET #3 in March 2015: 2 transferred = BFFN

    My first round the nurse circled the zone to give the shots for my Husband.  Everyday he would darken the circles for his kill zone!  It made him less nervous.  I think the shots were right next the to top of the "crack."  But it has been a while for me.  You could always call her RE office to find out the right spot.  It is all so confusing!

    My TTC Story:

    Me: 40,DH: 48, Married 10/07/2011, TTC since 09/2011, 03/2012 Started Clomid, 04/2012     Clomid, 05/2012 Clomid, 06/2012 Went to RE, he found a plum size fibroid in uterus, husband has low sperm count, 06/06/2012 Removed fibroid, 08/2012 Hysteroscopy
    IVF #1 October 2012 - Retrieved 8 eggs, 5 fertilized, 10/13/2012 Transferred 3 embryos - 8, 5, and 4 cells,     the other 2 eggs did not survive freezing, 10/26/2012 BFP!! Beta: 11, 10/26/12 Beta: 2 = Chemical Pregnancy
    IVF #2 - March 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, 4 Frosties - 8, 9, 7, and 7 cells all in good condition. 
    IVF #3 - May 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 2 eggs, 2 fertilized, 2 Frosties - 6 and 8 in good condition.

    I just talked to my nurse and she said I am fine. They will be doing bw during my final lining check Friday, so they won't do the transfer if my levels are wrong. I am going to make sure to move it higher tonight.

    Glad to know its fine... That being said you should get the nurse to mark the spots for him with a sharpie - takes some of the stress out!

    The idea is to get it into the muscle and to not hit the sciatic.  As long as it was in the muscle, it's where it needs to be.

    Anywhere in the upper right quadrant on the right cheek, upper left quadrant on your left cheek. That's what I remember. PIO was two years ago. I'm sure you're fine though! Consider it a blessing if you don't feel pain or anything. I was starting to get swollen and lumpy by the end of pio when I did it.
    On 10/23/13 Baby Sophie and Baby Gabriel born at 21+5 weeks. They grew wings and flew away from us. May God bless them always. We love you beans!

    I agreen with @diamante1181 I have always been told upper left/right quadrant! I've never had them emphasize above/below the crack. I have all kinds of bumps! lol
