Tdap vaccine

I had my glucose test and a check up on Monday where I also received a Tdap shot. I felt like I got hit by a bus on Tuesday and could barely lift the arm that I got the vaccine in. Followed by chills, mild fever, exhaustion and the runs. I've also been having some lower abdomen cramps, not like contractions feels more like gas pains. I googled the side effects of the shot and apparently I got almost all of them. I don't remember them from my last pregnancy. Did anyone else have anything similar happen?

The shot didn't hurt one bit, in fact I didn't even feel it. But good Lord did it hurt at night when I was trying to sleep! It's still a little sore today over 24 hours later.

I haven't gotten it this time yet, but I remember it making my arm soooo sore last time. Even H commented on how sore his arm was the day after getting his tdap.

Yeah, I've heard this is a painful shot. I'm getting mine tomorrow.

I felt run down and tired for a day or two after, but my arm was stiff and sore for a week.

In 2011, I remember my arm was a bit achey the next day, but otherwise felt OK. It was also my last day in the hospital I got it, so I was taking Motrin- maybe that helped quell some of the inflammation effects!

Just a sore arm which I was expecting. I can not remember if I experienced anything else. I also had the flu shot and rhogam done at that time.

I just remember being sore after the shot last time. They were out at my last appt so I will be getting it on Tuesday. Never fails, when I get a shot, DH always hits where I got the shot. I had the rhogam shot last appt and of course he smacks my butt right where the shot was.

Yes I had all these when I got the shot the first time. I'm hoping I don't this time around since that would seriously suck to deal with while having a toddler.

Sorry I don't get push notifications so I only check the board occasionally. I had the shot on Monday felt awful tues/weds and by thurs only the arm tenderness was present. It was the regular shot. I had the same shot in 2011 when I was pg with DD1
