ETA: Ugh! I forgot the QOTW! See? Not good at this.

QOTW: Due to the fires here in San Diego, we've had to pack up a few things in case we have to evacuate, then we are ready. (So far, we haven't had to and we've been ok) I've been thinking a lot about what I need to take. What's irreplaceable?

If you have 2 suitcases, one is for clothes/toiletries/etc and one is for your valuables, what are your valuables? What would you pack in one suitcase that could never be replaced?

I'm not in a good place right now. I'm not feeling well and doctors don't know why. I've had labs and tests done and everything is normal. More labs and tests are in my future and in the meantime we're doctor ordered TTA. I'm just so mad and frustrated. We were TTA for a year, TTC for 2 cycles - one of which was a m/c, and now TTA again until who knows when. I'm just really very angry and every RE appt I hear about how I'm running out of time. I KNOW!

This post requires more than wine.

Ladies do you mind if I join your check-in?

((hugs)) @uneek1323 I hate that you are struggling right now and not feeling well. Some days it is a challenge not to let this journey eat you alive. I am thinking of you.

AFM, I am in recovery from a Hysteroscopy D&C this past Tuesday. I am not in pain and not bleeding anymore. My post op appt is May 28th and they will check my residual HCG levels. My FX that they drop significantly. Regardless, I will be TTA via BCP for a few months. I need to finish RPL/Karotyping testing per my RE.

QOTW: If I couldn't fit my laptop, I would grab my back-up hard drive. I would also grab a few pieces of family heirloom jewelry as well as important documents (marriage certificate, etc).

@uneek1323‌ so many hugs. I'm not feeling well either and there is no reason. I almost feel like everyone chalks my problems up to IF and RPL. Of course all of that stuff is horrible, but I really dont feel ok! So sorry about the TTA.

@MyFirstRaspberry‌ I hope the recovery continues to go well and that your testing goes smoothly

AFM ugh...
So yesterday was cd9, had 2nd monitoring appt for my 2nd follistim IUI cycle
Nurse basically called to say that I had 4 follies at 16, 2 at 15, and some other smaller
I could trigger last night for IUI Sunday, but since none were mature it might be a waste
Or 1 to 2 could mature
Or all could mature and the risk would be HOM
Either way, I couldn't do more follistim. So trigger or cancel was my choice

Anyway, after some help from @snegde‌, 3T, and a distant friend, I decided to trigger for IUI. I woke up this morning feeling like it was probably a waste but I guess the alternative, to cancel, would have been a "waste" too

Also, my current RE is leaving in 2 weeks. I briefly met the new RE. He seemed nice with a sense of humor, which I like. For anyone counting, this will be my 3rd RE at this practice

I'm angry that my follistim dose was started at the same as last cycle, since I responded similarly last time. Oh well...

@rachaeleigh I'm sorry you're feeling like this IUI was a waste. FX it isn't! ((hugs))

As for me I'm in my 2nd 2WW since we started TTC again (CD 16/4dpo). I had a good temp spike, O cramps on the left side, EWCM and well timed sex so we'll see.

What to bring with me? Pictures, jewerly, any cash we had on hand, our gun (well depends- zombie apocalypse, end of the world type stuff the gun would be handy), some food & a change of clothes. And a few MacGyver tools (lighter, string, magnifying glass, chaga, knife, hah I have no idea). Oh and a bottle of something (wine seems not strong enough- tequila, whisky, vodka? Something.). Yeah most of this is end of the world type survival stuff not just valuables.

@MyFirstRaspberry It sounds like you're healing well. I'll be thinking of you at your May 28th appt. I'm sorry you're TTA. Hopefully RPL testing/results go fast and you'll be on your way with a plan.

@rachaeleigh I'm sorry you're not feeling well either. It affects all parts of life. I'm sorry your treatment cycles have been stressful for you. ((hugs))

I am in my 2WW also. CD26/8 but I bounce back and forth between having hope and not. We have had great timing almost every cycle (including this one) so maybe this will be our cycle, but it hasn't been any other time so why would this be different.

QOTW: Maybe it's just where my head is at these days but I truthfully can't think of anything important enough to me that I would really want to take. Perhaps some food for my fur family. I wouldn't want them to go hungry

Hoping this one will be better. I watched return to zero last night and that brought up a lot of difficult memories. However so glad it is being shown.

@uneek1323 - I'm sorry you haven't been feeling good.

I hope you get some answers soon. I was really sick a few years ago when I got sick with Crohn's disease, and it was really difficult physically and emotionally. Let me know if you want to talk.

@myfirstraspberry - I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope your betas freaking get to zero already, and that you don't have to TTA for too long.

@rachaeleigh - Ugh that is so frustrating. I've never done injects but it seems like it's so hard to find the right dose sometimes. I hope they figure out a good dose for your next cycle, if there is one.

@jap618 - Sounds like you're off to a good start this cycle. FX for you!

@taberbtb - After a lot of cycles, it starts to feel like it'll never happen, I know. But hopefully this cycle will be different!

@shandorfml2 - I agree you probably didn't O, and that really sucks. I'm sorry. Do they have a plan, like if you don't O in X number of cycles, they're going to try Y?

Update:
My RE follow up appointment got moved to this Thursday because of a cancellation. We will get the rest of our test results and hopefully come up with a plan. I'm really nervous. If they say there's nothing they can do, keep trying on your own, that will suck. If they recommend treatment, that will be hard because we might not be able to move to the US in a year like we are tentatively planning. Which majorly messes with my career plans. I dunno. All I know is I want a baby. It's just so hard.

And my appointment is on CD13, so we have to decide, like, now, if we are going to TTC or wait until after the appointment.

QOTW: Gosh, that's hard. A lot of my most precious memory stuff isn't even here, it's in the US with my parents. But from here, probably my rings, my computer, and my teddy bear (shut up!)

@uneek1323 - I'm sorry you are not feeling well (((((hugs)))))). Have they tested you for Valley Fever? I'm pretty sure you are in an area that has exposure potential. It definitely can make you feel just completely run down and awful for a long time.

@MyFirstRaspberry - ((((hugs)))) I'm glad recovery seems to be going well and FX that your betas are at zero when they check-in.

@Rachaeleigh - so many ((((hugs)))). I'm sorry your RE did not change your dosage for this cycle. I would definitely talk with your new RE about the changes they will make if you do need another treatment cycle.

@jap618 - Good luck this cycle!

@shandorfml2 - I'm sorry your PCOS is acting up ((((hugs)))). I forgot the movie was on (which is probably a good thing because I don't think I would have made it very far)\
and ended up watching Star Trek Return to Darkness.

@RedTwizzlers - ((((hugs)))) I hope you get some answers on Thursday and come up with a plan. If they do want to do some sort of treatment, could they transfer whatever it is to a US RE that way you can still move?

AFM - I apparently have the fertility chances of an 80 year old biblical woman. It's been awhile since my first "you can't get pregnant" DX that upgraded to "less than 1%" that it is kind of hard to go back to "you can't get pregnant." DH is open to donor eggs but wants to wait until after we are done with purchasing a house before we go to an RE to see if I'm even a DE candidate. It makes sense but I also know that DH is not as on board with lets spend thousands on this.

So, prayers and prenatals it is. I'm seriously doubting that I will be handed miracle #2.

QOTW - For me, everything to do with Zachary would be in the suitcase. I was lucky enough to have a great nurse at the hospital who made an incredible memory box. I would also bring old family photos and I would toss in my laptop which has all of our photos and stuff on it. We bought a couple small things on our honeymoon that are irreplaceable. The only other things I would want to squeeze in are couple family heirlooms - a set of mixing bowls that have been used by my family since the 1940s and which we still use and an old butter dish that is from the 1800s.

As for me, I posted my update in TTCAL but we got two healthy embryos

I'm so happy. Our track record has sucked so it looks like CoQ10 and Metformin are miracle drugs for me. We are still waiting for the result for the 4th embryo but I have a feeling that one will be unbalanced. I plan to call the doctor this week and set up our FET.

QOTW: I would have to pack our wedding photos/video, our animals, and the stuffed animal my dad gave me the day I was born. It is practically a member of the family at this point.

@RedTwizzlers I see my OB in July, which will have been 6 months of TTC after coming off bcp. We'll start the "what's next" conversation then. GL with your RE...plans are good but sounds like you have some tough choices to think about. ((hugs))

@jbasore1123 YAY for 2 embryos!!!!!!! I have everything crossed for you!! I won't be testing until this weekend. Sunday will be 12 dpo so I'm trying to hold out until then. I'll likely start on Friday though and test through the weekend (I'm far too impatient!).
