I've been thinking..."what would Max's first birthday party theme be if I had to choose what he is in love with right NOW?"
I think his would be a "Johnson's Baby Lotion" theme since he's obsessed with the lotion bottle. What about your LO? What would the [maybe sily] birthday theme be, given what your LO is infatuated with at this moment/stage?
Re: 1st bday theme
I just made him a sock monster and he's pretty into it...which is fortunate because that IS his first birthday theme. (Monsters...not socks)
As well as the "Hotdog Song" on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. No matter what she's doing when this comes on, she turns to the tv and smiles, laughs and screeches!
& thank you! @deedee1017

May Siggy: Baby in disguise
That being said, the crazy party planner in me already has most of her birthday party thought/planned out and I will start ordering supplies soon. So when I saw this I was all excited that I wasn't the only crazy party planner. #sadsies #backtopinterest
I negotiated my theme with DH last weekend. He just wanted me to commit to one. Done.
For DD1, who was born in January, we did a Winter ONE-derland.
Fall/Autumn doesn't lend itself to puns the same way.
What are ya'll's themes?
Paw Patrol could be like: Joey's 1st Birthday PAWty!
We love baseball & the Detroit Tigers so that's where the sports option comes from.
What's your theme?
May Siggy: Baby in disguise
If I were going with Detroit Tigers, I would spell it Detro1t T1gers maybe, if I could do it artistically and it not hurt my eyes.
Clearly we need a new party planning ribbon.
My theme is going to be the Very Hungry Caterpillar. DD1's name rhymes with butterfly, so that's what she was last Halloween and I knitted DD2 a Very Hungry Caterpillar hat and cocoon for her costume. I figure I'll continue that theme (jury is still out on whether DD2 will still be able to wear her hat, so far it fits), and the book really lends itself to menu planning.
@babyw101813, you guessed my theme without trying. And yes, Pinterest is your friend (and sometimes Frenemy).
::goes to start a party planning ribbon::
Preach.
He is also intrigued by the fire place (without a fire in it) so maybe we could have a fireman party with smores!
