Yes, this is a poll about how much you pee in the middle of the night... I feel like I am up all of the time peeing and not sleeping at all... Is this necessary information to have about each other? NO, but I just feel like throwing a poll out there! So tell me, how often are you up at night emptying your bladder?

At least 4 times, it sucks. DH has started sleeping in the guest room because it wakes him up every time I get up.

Like a million times. Sometimes when I get to the bathroom, there isn't even any actual pee. Those are the best.

@Taymiller‌ Ditto here on hubs in the guest room. Between the potty breaks and how it "takes you 3 minutes to roll over and you roll all night long" he hasn't slept well in a while either.

I have never gotten up in the middle of the night to pee. And I drink water all night long too. I think my bladder is made of steel!

If you are not joking then I am super jealous and kind of hate you. I have to stop drinking water at 7pm and still wake up at least 4 times.

It's about 2-3 times. I wake up more often to debate if I have to go or the baby is just hitting my bladder.

most nights I am a super speshul unicorn but occasionally I'll get up once... usually when DH gets home from work and wakes me up anyways.

I'm mostly a unicorn oddly enough and have only gotten up to pee a handful of times in the middle of the night this entire pregnancy.

With DD I got up at least twice a night for weeks. I'd take that gladly over the constant back, butt & leg pains I'm getting this time around though. There's always something!

I only wake up to pee once. Of course I have horrid insomnia and only sleep from 1-4 soo not sure that really counts.

Ditto x 2. My hubby is sleeping in the other room because I'm up about every two hours. The rolling over in the middle of the night is the worst!

I said twice a night, but it's not actually consistent... Last night I was up 3 times, but the night before that, I slept like a rock and woke up super early with a bursting bladder. Some nights it's only once.

I feel better that I'm not the only one at 4+ times. The worst part is it turns into a huge ordeal of deciding to actually get up and go and then getting comfortable again when I'm back in bed.

I have that same nightly debate and have woken up with my legs hanging off the bed because I was going to go and then feel asleep trying to decide.

OMG, I feel like that's all I do at night now. Last night I only got out of bed twice and I feel like a new woman today because of all the "extra" sleep I managed to get.

Now if I could only figure out how to roll over without feeling like a beached whale...

I choose twice, but it does depend. I have had nights where I work up every two hours, and for some reason, if I sleep on the couch, I don't wake up until the morning.

The thing that pisses me off about the whole peeing in the night thing is the fact that I always wake up bursting about 45 minutes before my alarm is set to go off. I can't wait 45 minutes, but I really want that time to sleep, which gets cut in half trying to get up, get to bathroom, and fall back asleep. I would much rather wake up at 3am.

Usually twice, but I am always up at least once a night. It seems like my pee breaks tend to coincide with LO's active times (1am and 4am. EVERY. NIGHT.) so I'm guessing whenever she starts moving around and jabbing my bladder, it wakes me up.

I have a lovely pee break/rolling over routine. I fall asleep on one side, wake up to pee then go back to bed on my other side. Repeat. This way I don't have to roll over in the middle of the night.

And @nutmegs8‌, me too with the pubic symphysis pain. When also needing to pee, boy is it painful trying to get out of bed and walk to the toilet.

Even when I'm not pregnant I get up at least once or twice to pee, and in my 3rd Tri I get up at least once an hour. It's awesome. (

Twice is the usual for me. Occasionally three times. I have a fluid issue, so I don't want to limit my water intake or stop having it in the evening. Better to be hydrated and up a few times. I wake up about 5-8 times anyway most nights because I'm uncomfortable.

I have many nights of being a special unicorn and not waking up but I have learned that if I do wake up in the middle of the night to get up and go right away otherwise almost every time I don't quite make it....The joys of pregnancy.

Once in a while I will have a special unicorn night, but more often than not I am up two or three times. I'm riding the pubic symphysis dysfunction train too, so getting out of bed and walking (waddling?) to the bathroom has become a huge chore. I wake up to roll over and pee at a minimum every two hours and usually have that internal battle about how badly I really have to go.

Also every morning I wake up with that "I'm going to die if I don't get water into my sand-filled mouth right this second" feeling that I thought could only come from a night of extremely heavy drinking. Nope, turns out being 38 weeks pregnant is a lot like being hungover all day/night.

SS here - first tri I got up at the same time every night and went once, but once second tri hit it's extremely rare. If I forget how much water I've had that day I'll guzzle some like crazy before bed and have to go a few hours later, but otherwise just pee in the morning.

...although I'm sure as he gets lower and more ready for labor I will get up more often.
