Morning Ladies,

I feel like a have a renewed lease, not sure what happened, but I'm going to go along with it.  :)  

I've started back on the old W.Watchers plan and I've put up a thread a few days ago w/the links if anyone wants to do the same.  For the past 3wks I've been walking 1/2way into work, about a 30min walk and I've started the Couch to 5K yesterday.  I'm hitting the gym tonight to do weights.  My plan is C25K Tues, Thrus, I know it's 3 days, but I go to the gym on Mondays and I don't want to run in the afternoon and then go to the gym at night, I just don't have it in me.  My gym blocks cell reception so I can't get the C25K app in the gym. 

Anyone have a new plan they'd like to follow?  What can we do to help you get motivated?

  • I dont 'know, but I need something.  I tried on bathing suits last night for the first time in almost 10 years.  It was bad...I actually cried in the dressing room.  So I need to do something.  I think I'll try to follow the WW plan you posted, I know I asked for the links so I might as well check them out!

    Up 2 lbs even though I've been really good about running in the mornings. Normally get up at 5:00a & run 2+ miles with my training partner, we started pushing longer & did 3 miles this morning in the same amount of time. I've started eating less crap for snacks & switched to fresh fruit/veggies instead. 

    I'm hoping the extra weight gain is muscle tone coming back but I probably won't know for another couple of weeks. Also just ending my period so I'm all out of whack inside.

  • I haven't seen much difference in the scale, but I feel like my clothes fit a bit better.  I need an intervention though...I bought some of those Keebler E.L.Fudge cookies and I CAN'T STOP EATING THEM...they're in my desk whispering "eat me"....and I'm giving in...the good news is, once they're gone, I don't have anymore so eventually I guess I'll save myself, lol.

  • Ok, first things first, @excitedaunt2b, bating suits are SCARY no matter someone's body type. Do the W.Watcher old plan, it can't hurt.  Maybe you need something new to motivate and boost you.

    @kescalera, I hate that.  Not knowing if it's fat weight or muscle.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

    @kerbear135, My bf will tell you, when we were doing W.Watcher together years ago I knocked a cookie out of her hand, she had already had 2 and this would be a 3rd and I knew she would regret having that 3rd cookie and she thanked me. So I'm doing a figurative cookie knock.  THROW THOSE COOKIES OUT or PUT THEM IN THE PUBLIC OFFICE AREA, Don't Eat Them All!

    @ExcitedAunt2b‌ Totally understand the hatred of bathing suits, you are not alone at all

    @kerbear135‌ I either give cookies or candy away to my co-workers or put them really far away, like the other side of the building. If I know they are around I can't stay out.

    @kescalera‌ Sounds like you could be retaining fluid from running either from muscle swelling or maybe since it's getting warmer need more fluids(?)

    I am exactly the same as I was last week. I tracked and exercised and am just trying to stay motivated after losing 3 lbs one week that it isn't unusual to stall out on week 2

  • I've been doing good for the most part. Some days are harder than others to stay on track, especially when your boss wants to go eat BBQ.

     Also, it's hard for me to track my progress because my weight fluctuates up and down like 4lb. I know I probably shouldn't weigh as much as I do.

    I'm posting my morning weight 155lb, last week I said 159 but that was night time weight. I am only weighing in the mornings from now on.
