Strong Popping feeling?

Last night and tonight I felt a "pop" in my belly. Tonight it actually made me jump and swear. It's too high to be the baby and it isn't gas. It sort of felt like a really strong baby kick where you would be able to see the belly move. It doesn't hurt, just scared me both times. Has anyone felt anything like this? Could it be the uterus stretching?

It could be a muscle spasm/twitch! I get them sometimes a lot and can even see them and after having been pregnant already, it was really freaky when I wasn't pregnant. I still get them up in my ribs from time to time.

You sure it's not gas? I get crazy big gas bubbles when pregnant. Or like pp said maybe a twitch? That's all I can think of.

Yeah, this feels different from gas bubbles. I never felt it while pregnant with DD. Maybe it's just a muscle spasm.

I have to giggle because every time I come across this post I read it at "pooping" not "popping"....then I daydream about having regular poop agian.

I'm not kidding, I read the title about 6 times before I posted it to make sure I didn't subconsciously write "pooping".
