This is nothing more than rehashing my dr. appt. from this Monday. Not too interesting prob, but i needed to talk haha. So dr. went to find heartbeat couldn't find it in my pelvis, but found it right below my belly button!? I guess after a c section it can make your uterus higher. Might be why my bump is so pronounced already.
Anyways strong heart at 154. We scheduled my cesarean for the Monday before Thanksgiving, very cool. He says he's going to cut out my old ugly scar, had an infection, and make a nice new one. Also very cool.
Something not so cool, did a blood test to check what my sugars have been doing since before pregnancy. I had gd with ds. Well they've been very high : ( So at high risk for gd again and for diabetes later in life. I don't really every have a sweet tooth, but i'm to limit and resist the urge for sweets from now on : (
Sorry so long, all in all a great dr appt. Start my second tri on Friday woohoo!

I had GD during my last pregnancy and go in for the 3 hour test next week. :-S
I don't have a sweet tooth either. GD has more to do with carbs vs just sweets.
If your numbers are high you should make sure you look at packaging and checkout how many carbs are in whatever you are eating. Before my GD diagnosis I ate a lot of fruit; that was thrown out (a small carton of OJ has 60 carbs in it and I was only supposed to consume 40 carbs per meal!). You also have to watch your bread, potato and pasta in take.
I say this all out of love and hoping the best for your future glucose numbers! The further along in pregnancy, sometimes the harder to keep the numbers down.
Yikes, I don't have a sweet tooth but have been craving and eating a lot of bad carbs this pregnancy, I better lay off those fries and mash potatoes... But they taste so good!
Well jeeze jokes on me.
