Clogging the toilet...TMI?

Do any of you ladies have a CONSISTENT problem of clogging the toilet after going #2....and this is even before you throw the tp in the mix. I do it about once a day. My husband told me to wait off on throwing the tp down just because he thought that was the culprint, but I guess not...it is my poopy! If this mothering gig ends up not working out, at least I can always go into plumbing! Stick out tongue

To clog the toilet on a daily basis seems a bit extreme. Maybe you need actual help with the plumbing.

LOL the term is "coke can size poops" if you can picture that? Surprise

But yeah mine have been pretty large BM's too...especially lately. I have clogged the toilet maybe 2-3 times in my entire pregnancy but I tell myself it's the 50 yr old house I live in and the horrible pipes etc in the house. The toilet has to be flushed 2x normally anyway with pee in it as well.

Glad to hear there is a name for them! Can't be the house, we are the first to ever live in it! Maybe I need to slow down on the fiber!

This has ALWAYS been a problem of mine. DH has asked that I flush 1/2 way through, but I usually forget Angel

I have gotten really good at using a plunger. Lately, my poos have been getting softer so I have not had this issue much recently (hopefully its a sign that labor is getting close), but I'm sure it will come back.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone. This happens to me about three times a week, but the plumbing in our house is pretty bad, it never happens when I go in the store.

Well, I only have a good BM about once every 2 weeks at this point, all the other ones are dinky "poop marbles" as DH and I refer to them. But, when I get a good one, yes, it ALWAYS clogs the toilet. DH laughs. I don't find it funny in any way!

I'm really late to this post but I do. Mine have become...let's say a little larger than normal. I do need to flush half way through but I forget. This has only happened 2xs in the past week and not any other time during pregnancy. I'm hopping it has to do with getting ready for labor!!

YES! so glad it's not just me! This has happened to me twice this week and i havent clogged a toilet since i was a kid! My husband tried to say it was the same thing. TP, not flushing enough...etc.. I didnt want to gross him out and tell him it is just one big ole' gross giant toilet clogging poop and there's nothing i can do about it! LOL. Once it happened at work which was so embarrassing because it didn't get fixed until the next day! I think it may be from drinking ensure which the doctor told me to drink because i have lupus and the baby was a little underweight last week for the first time and he though that might help. it fills me up so much i'm not drinking enough other fluids. Thats what i blame at least. Maybe not though after reading yours!

Yes, i hate pregnancy constipation. Get yourself Fiber supplements (they make them as gummies or wafer) and take 2-4/day (as many as it takes to keep you moving). That will make your poops smaller and softer so you don't clog

This happened to me a few times in 2nd tri mostly if I hadn't gone in a few days. Stool softeners and miralax are my toilet and i's friends these days
