I was told 4 yrs ago that both of my tubes were blocked, hsg showed no dye coming out of either side....scar tissue from 2 ectopic pregnancies. My husband and I just moved on and let go of any hope for another baby. ( we have 3 from his first marriage, three from my first marriage and two boy 9 and 10 yrs old together. By all accounts a full house!)
So on April fools day when my phone app period tracker said I was 3 days late I was shocked! Josie is now 18 months old! So just on a lark, because I was once a compulsive tester
I decided to test on Mother's day, 3 days before AF was due but "wouldn't it be funny if I got a positive on Mother's day? " and I got the shock of my life when it actually was!!! I used an E.P.T. digital and instead of the expected 'not' pregnant, it just said "PREGNANT".
I am still stunned but very excited.
This pregnancy has its challenges though. Since my last baby was born our 13 yr old daughter had an accident on the school playground and after falling from the monkey bars, she is a quadriplegic. It's been a year since her accident and we've learned a lot!
I love almost every minute of this life and although some would be tempted to be jealous or resentful that I may get pg somewhat more easily than others, know that I have my own struggles. ...
