So out of nowhere my sweet child is all about biting. I'm hoping it only has to do with teething but wtf. He looks all cute then vampire baby strikes.... Anyone else? Oh and combine that with the little evil pinches!!!! So frustrating.
Hahaha, yes!! She snuggles my shoulder then all of a sudden bites! Sneaky and naughty! I laugh and yell ouch at the same time, I am not sure if it is hilarious or horrible.
I can't laugh lol if I do he smiles and does it again ! I try not to say ouch either so he doesn't get a reaction. I say no that's naughty, hugs and kisses only and move him away lol

I think this is the appropriate way to handle it, considering mine has been doing it for months and still thinks it is hilarious.
I've also gotten bit on the shoulder, wrist, and leg / thigh. I do react spontaneously, because it hurts!! It usually happens if I've been ignoring LO, but seems to have subsided in frequency.
Pinches too! Ouch! I've got a noticeable mole on my neck that gets LO's attention. The mole on my upper chest once got picked at so much it bled!
Yep. DD1 never bit, but DD2... plus the chest pinches when I've got any kind of scoop neckline. Ouch. But she likes to whack DH in the face and laugh. I find it interesting that she pinches me and smacks him. I guess the fact that she actually differentiates her violence depending on who is holding her makes my brain gears start turning. I don't have an answer yet, though

I am loathing the little back of the arm fat pinches.....THOSE HURT...he is lucky I don't drop him because he latches on with his pinchers like a crab!
With DS1, I would say "no" and put him right down. He would cry, but he got the picture real quick.
With DS2, I find that we are usually out, or I am in a conversation with another adult, so I can't really do that. Hm, reading the earlier posts, I wonder if its an attention thing...Anyway, yesterday he started saying "no no no" and shaking his head as soon as he started to bite. So hard to stay stern when he is hilarious and adorable :x
Oh yeah, he is also a back-of-the-arm-pincher. Good times.

No biting/pinching here (thank goodness, that sounds painful!) but there are plenty of naughty things that he does that he knows are wrong. Pulling at electrical cords and throwing food are the main two. He looks us straight in the eye, smirks, and goes on doing his naughty thing and giggles when we say no. Defiant little guy. Sometimes it takes all I have not to laugh though because he obviously thinks it's a big game and his facial expressions are pretty darn cute.
