Breastfeeding

9 month old

Hi ladies, I am hoping you guys can help me out on a few question on my almost 9 month old and breast feeding: 1) I think I am about to start my first cycle since having her and am experiencing a slight supply dip, what are the tricks again to get it up during you period? 2) how many times a day did your LO nurse or did you pump? I think she is dropping a session since she has started 3 solids a day. Thanks!

Re: 9 month old

  • My supply dips for a few days then rebounds on its own.  LO is also eating 3 times a day now but hasn't dropped any feedings.  she still eats 6 times a day and I pump 3 times at work.

  • Thanks guys! I reduced her bottles from 14 ounces to 12 for daycare and that seems to work well, I used to pump 4 times a day on work days and now just pump 3 so I have more time now!

When my LO was 9 months old she was nursing 4-5x a day if that helps. And upping water intake to 100 oz and eating almonds (strange but true!) were some helpful tips for the return of AF. GL!
